Membership in ISI is by invitation only. If you have an interest in becoming a member send us a note and we will review your work. Or if you personally know one of our members you may ask them to invite you. Please NO cold requests for membership from our members. If you don't know them on a personal level don't ask them for membership. Attending a workshop or meeting doesn't mean you know a member!

What do you get from Membership?:

1. You will be provided with a forum to advertise your workshops, books, classes, and videos.

2. Members may provide links to their web sites for others to go to and know they are going to a proven professional!

3. Once in awhile we are asked to provide feedback on products. This is your chance to use a product before it goes to market!

4. Some times free products are provided to members in order to provide teaching programs around those products! - Cameras, Software, Computers, etc...

5. You may link to our web site so that people will know they are working with top professionals!

6. People come to us asking about learning new skills. If you are on our list we can direct them to you!

7. We provide a teaching evaluation program. You may either hire one of our members to evaluate you or you may be hired to evaluate others!

8. Membership is FREE!

We only accept working professionals that teach in the Digital Arts! Here are a few of the things we are looking for!

1. You MUST be a working professional! More than 50% of your income must come from the digital arts.

2. You need to have experience providing training's in the digital arts.

a. Teaching Workshops or Seminars.

b. Working in the classroom.

c. Writing: books, magazine, journals articles on the subject of Digital Arts.

d. Creating videos, pod casts, or other multi media content that teach the Digital Arts.

3. We require that you share what you are doing with us! This can be as easy as providing us with a link to your page showing where and when you are providing training's Or a link to your pod casts, blog, etc... We would also like a small blurb about what is new in your teaching.

blurb examples:

a. We are going to Arches National Park to photograph the great geological formations during early morning light. We will demonstrate the power of the golden hour(s), in photography, You will see rock formations that are unique to this region, As well as experience the local wild life. Bring your wide angle lens for the lenience rock formations and a telephoto lens to capture the wild life! The terrain is moderate, you will need to bring good hiking shoes, and clothing you can move around in. We will provide a suggested list of clothing and gear for this trip. ~ Digital Photo Pro Grand Photo!

b. Our latest workshop will demonstrate the power of Painter. We will be in a classroom setting providing hands on instruction. Each student will have access to their own computer and monitor and we will share a printer so that you may output your final images to take home with you. You will want to own your own copy of Painter X.X for this class and you are welcome to bring your personal computer to work on. Lunch will be provided each day as well as morning and afternoon snacks and drinks. ~ Digital Artist Pro Super Graphics!

4. We have found that even though you may be a great digital artist you may not be a great teacher of the digital arts. We have also found that some people that are not great digital artists are outstanding teachers of the digital arts! Please keep in mind that our goal is to find people that do a great job of teaching the digital arts. Those that are great digital artists and great teachers are top priority in our group! Keeping this in mind we may require that your students provide us with an evaluation of your teaching skills. This would be a one page questionnaire that they can send directly to us.
